Tassie Backpacks is situated in the historic Brunswick Hotel right in the centre of Hobart. First described in 1816 the original sandstone wall and dumb waiters remain from circa 1820's as do the leadlight windows and red cedar door from a later period.

The Brunswick Hotel has just changed ownership (25th January 2010) and now provides travellers of all ages with great "Backpacker" style Accommodation at very competitive prices.
